There is not rhyme or reason my old foolish eyes found near
Where my eternal dreams longed to come true beside you mine
Your adorable beauty so divine arousing my every misapprehension
Finding you so late in life needing you forever mine without contention
Understanding I am no longer worthy of your love or desire as I do now forever you
But hoping like an impossible dream come true by some quark you be mine divine
Forever to have to old embrace loving you as much as I need you now forever mine
Such hopes have no promise they leave one only most sad without remorse
As they course their way down lonely path into one's own soon demise
Yet forever lingering without your rapture found upon such innocent angel face
There one rests one lonely laurels yearning for such redeeming cherished grace
Without such hope life becomes but lonely path to some awaiting sad destiny
Where never one longs to find themselves but within your embrace eternally
Soon to be redeemed within such profound elation if such dreams came true
Knowing it may never be until these foolish eyes fell upon angel like you
