This Cheeky Fashion Collection Reminds Us About The Dog-Eat-Dog World

The starlings fly from Russia and Eastern Europe to spend winter in the Middle East. This photo of a murmuration taken by Reuters photographer Amir Cohen has taken on the shape of a sperm whale.



“In A Parallel Universe” is a series of fictional images, recreated from real ads in the mad men era, that question modern day sexism: showing it through a humorous light to spark a conversation through role play.


In the 1950s, the image of the perfect household consisted a hardworking wife slaving away to keep her home spick-and-span and her husband delighted. In the iconic ads of the time, everything is bright, clean, shiny… and filled to the brim with outrageous sexism, subservience and even conjugal violence.



These frozen caves seem almost otherworldly as they daylight illuminates them. Matej Kriz’s shots reveal the beauty of the brilliant caves, but he’s also very aware of how deadly they can be. The photographer captured the amazing shots in the Vatnajokull National Park on the Breidamerkurjokull glacier tongue.



CarbonScape is the latest kinetic data soundscape installation created by h0nh1m aka Chris Cheung. It consists of 18 tracks of granular synthesized sound samples, collected from the sound sources where carbon footprints left; from the jet engine sound, steam noises of the factory to the horn of the ships etc…one minute long for each track, giving chances to stand in silent tribute to the mother earth. The finale is composed of all tracks blending into the soundscape.
