As an interior designer who has been in the log home industry for over 15 years, I have had the pleasure of viewing rustic design at its best. I have a passion for creating beauty in my own home, as well as having the honor and excitement of helping others in their journey to take their home from the initial design concept to a place they are proud to call home. I think finding an interior designer or builder that specializes in this form of design is often difficult, and so my first page in this blog will be dedicated to adding the work of those that I have found to be inspiring. It is my hope that it will assist those who love all things rustic in decorating their own homes. This kitchen has it all. Exposed beams, double range oven and
the combined beauty of stone and wood. The cabinet hardware
is by Rocky Mountain Hardware. The beam work is 100%
reclaimed material.
These beautiful cabinets were made from reclaimed Oak.
The Island is solid walnut and the perimeter is soapstone.
Masonry is Harlowton Stone, which is a common stone in the Rocky Mountain region.
The frame to the firebox is made from iron by a local blacksmith.
