Hi friends!
I feel like I will never be “done” with my house.
I literally take things one day at time around here & that also means one project at a time.
Most of the time that is a really good thing, because I LOVE to DIY
but…..
with 2 boys & all of the activities I wonder sometimes how good it would feel to just pay someone or buy it.
Can anyone relate?
At the end of the day making things feeds my soul & I think I would rather take it slow and “try” it myself:).
Are you with me?!
Good because I have the EASIEST DIY for you today!!!
Lets build a Rustic Wood SOFA Table using reclaimed wood….
what you will need:
1 length of flat reclaimed wood {make sure it is not warped or split}
4 wood screws
drill & bit
8 -1″ corner brackets
painters tape
Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter
foam brush
white spray paint
high gloss clear sealer
Pre drill holes, lining legs up under each four corners. I used the holes that were already there in the reclaimed wood as a guide.
Flip over and attach 2 corner brackets to each leg.
I use Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter for the legs, it is a stunning greige.
Next the dipped legs- I wanted the lower third to be a glossy white to contrast with the rustic top.
I taped off 9″ and then wrapped tissue paper around the bottom & sprayed the white, then the gloss.
Tada….
